No they've been saying there's no pay on the day since they released tickets.

A fr8 train has derailed at Charlton and caused what's being described as "extensive damage" to the track.

No doubt it'll be sorted by the weekend, but any royals planning to make the trip to SE7 by train are advised to check for updates with South Eastern before travelling.

Tickets ordered - probably The Barrow Boy and then onto the one near the tube station

£30 for this. To see us play at oxf*rd Charlton.

Football is an expensive pastime nowadays.

Andy
Mr.Swainey What would be the best way to drive to this? Simple southbound M25 job, off before Dartford on the A2?

Not wanting to sound like some kind of South London weirdo, but i have to say I've driven to Charlton and back a lot and have never found any quicker route other than m25 to a2.

You could go through town if you have hours to kill and want to sightsee. I'd prob cross the river around London bridge and pick up the a2 at the old Kent road.

The only other option is junc 8 of the m25, then chipstead, Coulsdon, south Croydon, beckenham, blackheath. But you need to know SE London well to save any significant amount of time.

Do not go the south circ. Nightmare, particularly on weekend.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

I've driven to Palace before and that was a ballache, so I think I'll take your advice and stick to the M25.

When I went to London Bridge for the millwall game there was a lot of good pubs. But no real good gathering of fans so little atmosphere.

I seem to remember last time in Charlton a lot of fans went to the away pub there. The atmosphere was better - lots of chanting, good gathering of fans.

Not sure I even like London Bridge that much

I like the Market Porter but just don't see it as a football pub tbh

Prob the case of being spoilt for pubs if they are quite close to home!!
