Was certainly impressed by the operation, it was nice to enjoy a beer in the sun before the game as well.

PieEater quite sad to see the lack of half timers flocking to wbbrew,

Slipped up there - had one before the game but as they'd sold out on the previous occasions before we'd even got to the ground I just went straight to the main bar at HT without even thinking to check if they were still serving. Then went outside and there they were still serving!

I think this was a common error. I don't normally get a beer at HT because of the short time to drink it and the queues, but I wandered outside for some chips and thought I'd have a look if they were still there. Which worked out nicely, especially as almost no one else was there.

They brought three times as much beer this time. I hope they didn't get too much wastage... they were definitely expecting more people at HT. They ought to get a sign up above the bar before the game that says they intend to serve at HT too.

There is no downside to it, the beer's better and cheaper and the service is quicker, friendlier and more competent.

Didn't even think about it at half time either. If I realised they were still selling I would have gone for one.

It would be nice if they were still selling after the game as well, they would probably have done well on Saturday with the weather as it was.

If this becomes a permanent fixture next season it would certainly add weight to the case for renewing my ST

I asked STAR to get behind this on their forum and they appeared to do so.

There is no such thing as a nice lager. All are gassy tasteless liquids.

Ale all the way!

Club does something for the fans and puts a decent ale on, supporting a local company, local company does its best to please and in an efficient manner sets up an outside bar and serves fine ale providing an added bonus to supporters.

Brendy: 'Can you put a lager on?'

There is no such thing as nice alcohol full stop.

You're destroying your Liver and you can't spell Liver without live and guess what? You aren't going to live for very long if you keep drinking alcohol, yes that means you as well Ian Royal.

If I could punch you all in the face and give you a split lip I would. This is not a minor threat, the youth of today need to have heart and rise against this disease because you need to realise that alcohol is a gateway drug and in my eyes if you have one drink you're basically an alcoholic.

You're not trying hard enough then. Try some of the golden ales or the citrus flavour ones.

Bull. As a big ale drinker there is very much a thing called a 'good lager'. Not your Fosters, Bud that are only okay as a cheap way to get hammered (Not Carling which is undrinkable) but lagers such as The Crisp by Sixpoint Brewery which is a wonderful beer. If you think that all lagers are bad you haven't had the right ones.

Green I'd imagine the exact reverse unless they can raise the 1000 pint limit imposed on them.

Rumoured to have sold close to 1,500 pints on Saturday.
