SydenhamRoyalSilver Fox 'greed, gonna need some evidence for that one Syders
Received the information from someone very much in the know, due to their senior position in the hierarchy at the club. The other snippet was the waste of money (7 figure sum) from the Russian on handwoven carpet throughout the hospitality suites

How on earth would we have a £36 million wage bill? In the premier league maybe, but not after dropping back down.
because one of the REALLY REALLY stupid things that happened at the end of last season is that some players successfully renegotiated their contracts to get INCREASED wages, presumably as some kinda oxf*rd reward for bringing us down
Or maybe some of our younger star players, who we didn't want to lose, were being courted by other clubs and we wanted to encourage them to stay. Even though we were relegated, some of our players were less to blame than others and remain very good players who we didn't/don't want to lose. So maybe they were able to successfully renegotiate their contracts to get increased wages.
SutekhNo Fixed AbodeNo Fixed Abode I'm hearing a deal is nearly done with an Italian consortium.
News brought to you on the 17th March. In the papers 3rd April.
So with the past record on this thread that's one deal that won't happen

Royal Lady Amid the confidentiality and commitment to privacy, there has been an indication following Reading’s promotion that TSI might be more closely linked to Anton Zingarevich’s father, Boris, than has previously been disclosed.
Madejski’s comments give hints that the 29-year-old Anton Zingarevich, the source of whose personal wealth is unknown, is not the sole TSI investor, [though he had previously been seen as such. His father’s wherewithal is more obvious: he is the co-founder of Ilim Pulp, one of the world’s largest timber-and-paper conglomerates, and the largest single shareholder in Ener1, a New York-based power-source companyhttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/reading/9212637/Premier-League-investigate-Russian-takeover-of-Reading.html
