What's the train situation like for this?

Will be buying tickets today, and booking train ASAP. Never been to Doncaster before

Train looks expensive, 90 odd quid return. Any suggestions, ideas for cheaper fares?

Travelcard to London on the day.

Kings Cross - Doncaster can be done for as little as £40 return if book specific trains in advance.

Football game followed by an evening at the races and a curry with an overnight stay in Donny somewhere sounds like the best plan.

What have the last couple of inflatable days been like, I'm guessing West Ham was nothing to shout about, what about Birmingham the year before?

My last one was Coventry which was a good laugh, putting the game aside.
