Was that a quote from one of my earlier posts? I was talking about 2011, given that we wanted him mid-season the following season before he went to Swansea there's every reason to think had we been the PL club and not Swansea we could have brought him back. And it may have been for the whole season as there were rumours about PL interest within days of that playoff final.

Of course it wouldn't happen these days, and Sig's salary has undoubtedly gone up since then too, 50k per week?

If we do get there this year (still can't see it tbh), I am more than likely going to have to work anyway so will probably just watch it on TV when i'm finished. I'll be a bit disappointed i'm missing the actual game but to be brutally honest, i'd be looking forward to the day out more than the actual game anyway.
