sputnik Colin Kazim-Richards has been found guilty of making a homophobic gesture at a match against his former club Brighton and fined £750 for the "insulting" gesture he made to the crowd at The Amex.
Prosecutor Simon Allen told the court a witness had seen Kazim-Richards backing into Brighton player Wayne Bridge and simulating a sex act deemed to be homophobic after the chants after the home supporters chanted ‘you fat b*****d’ at him.
He added: ‘It seems that the player reacted to this and he mimicked pulling down his shorts and with his left hand behind his back mimicked that he had something in his hand and moved it back and forward.’

That's pretty bad
Can't believe he's only considering it. If it's as he described... Which is a non descript slide tackle, and as he got up, unaware he was then punched with no warning, then he should report it. IMHO.
There's a place for a bit or handbags on the training ground or pitch. However not for pure violence which has results in a pretty horrible injury.
