Victor Meldrew
soggy biscuit Don't agree with that. Against Barcelona in the CL it was dull but they are usually pretty decent to watch.

my admiration for Turan also knows no bounds. The bloke is immense

Terrific player.
Not easy to play expansive football against the likes of Barcelona.
Before Simeone went there the defence was poor but he has done a marvellous job in getting them into this challenging position on 2 fronts.
It's a bit like getting a team such as Villa (having been good years ago) to be championship challengers.

Definitely gr8 to see Atleti mixing it up with the big two of Spain for La Liga.

Would disagree slightly VM, in that Atleti have been in and around the top 6 for a number of years (plus they won the Europa League last season) - possibly more equivalent to Everton becoming title contenders over here maybe

Copa Del Rey final tonight with Sergio Ramos being sent off for breathing, Barca getting a dodgy penalty and Neymar falling over whenever the wind changes direction.

Early congratulations to them on their victory.

Not 'bitter' just having a laugh and saying what will happen.

Have you never seen a clasico?

Madrid should've payed an extra few million and bought Bale's finishing boots as well.

They should have definitely spent an extra few million on Benzema's finishing boots.

How bad would it have been if Casillas had fallen onto King Juan Carlos there?
