JakeTheRoyal Game over. Season over. No playoffs. Team of useless w***k**s

Not unless other results change. At worst we're three points off the play offs today. Somehow we're contriving to take it to the wire, even though we look like we should have fallen into midtable about three months ago.

I will celebrate the failure. Hopefully it will mean some of the lazy playing staff sodding off. They are overpaid and overrated by a long stretch. NA needs to build his own side THEN we can judge.

playing injured players is ridiculous. Better to start with the under 21's at least we could have tried to close them down. Even a 1-0 defeat would have helped. Now we are about lose points and our goal difference. Good old Adkins gets it wrong -- again- !!!

Royal Ginger
PistolPete We won't turn this around - one of our rivals most likely will though.

The thing is, what would you change?

Akpan or Hector off for Le Fondre?

Dismal, dismal performance...

Go for broke. McCleary for Drenthe, Akpan for Le Fondre, Cummings for Williams (Obita into the middle). 4-4-2

Would much rather see Blackman get game time than Drenthe - he could actually do something on the right & then drift up top to support Pog as well.

When we've got dirge like Hope Akpan running the midfield, Premier League football was never in sight.

Once again just one shot in the whole first half.
On the radio it said that we are being over-run in midfield and the defenders are static-how on earth can we be over-run in midfield when we have 5 in there?

Not surprising seeing as we're playing in much the same lacklustre and defeated way we did for much of the season under him last year.

Because four of them are carrying injuries and playing well within themselves.

Cant help but feel that season in the premiership and not spending any money damaged some of these players confidencewise.

Because 3 of the 5 are injured & probably on pain killing injections just to run!

Frankly, if the players can't motivate themselves for this game they're even more at fault.

I don't think it's a motiv8ion problem, I just don't think we are fit enough in the key positions

Well, the saying goes at least, that the toughest lead to defend is a 2-0 one at HT. I don't know who said it but I will hang my hat on it for now and hope...

Last season we were an upper tier Championship squad that had overachieved, this season we are an upper tier Championship squad that is underachieving.

MmmMonsterMunch All those players are tired & injured. I am trying not to be too harsh but you can tell they're crocked. Why the fcuk didn't Blackman start ahead of McCleary? He could more than do a job & it's harsh he's not seeing any game time IMO.

Easy to say now, an injured McCleary was dangerous on monday...
