sandmanKitsondinho FFP will do bugger all. It'll be the usual fudge where smaller clubs get shafted and bigger ones escape. The FL, PL and FA have shown this time and again (West Ham, Luton, B.mouth etc). Same thing in Europe. PSG and Man City are likely to fall foul of the FFP regs......can you honestly see UEFA banning them from Europe??
Exactly this. Voted in by David Gill and the like to preserve their clubs dominance, these big clubs don't vote for something unless they can get it to work for them.
Aren't PL decisions based on votes from all 20 chairman? I'm not sure how that gives total control to the top 4 - 6 clubs. Obviously they've got a lot of influence and could throw toys, but they need the medium sized clubs to tow the line to dictate anything.
