I went for sit back and counter attack. With the pace on the wing that we can provide through McCleary and maybe HRK and Blackman potentially, compared to the defence of Burnley like Shackell and Duff that aren't exactly the quickest, we might be able to grab a few goals as long as we manage to mop up their attacks in the first place. If we attack from the start, we'll concede early as we'll end up throwing men forward and being left at the back with Pearce and Morro with Ings, Kightly, Stanislas etc. all breaking at exceptional pace

We should do what we normally do. Pass it round the back for a bit, occasionally threaten in the first 30 mins, drop off, and gift Burnley a goal just before half time. They'll never see it coming.

We, the fans, celebrated anyway because we just wanted to give them a final away-day wave and cheer to celebrate promotion. Nobody seemed to really care about the result. The job was done.

2 years on, Burnley are in a similar position. The job is done. The fans will cheer them whatever the result because they've had a season to celebrate. Does anyone really want to go home to Burnley on crutches looking to miss the pre-season and a chance to play in the Premiership.

Hello chaps - friendly (and local) Claret here - think it will be a good game on Saturday - Dyche still has the team targeted on 95 points and you boys clearly need a result so hopefully its end to end stuff!

If any of you saw the Ipswich game last weekend, I think its clear that there wont be any let up from the high-tempo pressing game that we have played all season - with the pressure for points off, we looked very comfortable against a team in a similar situation to you. I suspect, at home and with everything to gain, you will come at us harder so it should be exciting stuff.

If you do make it into the play-offs, I can only wish you luck - partly on the selfish basis that it would be a very close away game for me but also on the basis that I would hate 'Arry's bunch to have any modicum of success! They are the anti-Burnley (money, mercenaries, no team spirit etc etc etc).

Don't normally care about what away supporters have to say for themselves frankly - its is bad enough reading the views of our own supporters - but I'd like to say with genuine sincerity.....well done Burnley for sticking it to clubs such as Reading, QPR, Brighton with their vastly bigger budgets. And you've done it with a young British manager who never seems to bleat on about refereeing decisions as others do.....although maybe that is because you win most weeks

Cheers floyd_streete - I have to say that its been one of the joys of the season - seeing a very unfancied team (even by me!) do so well against those with salary budgets of several times ours - I remember transfer deadline day when 'Arry brought in more strikers than we had in our squad (and we held them 3-3 at Loftus Rd a couple of days later) - Dyche has worked miracles to be fair!
