Would like to see HRK/ALF pairing from Boro if he's fit. With Pog, Hector on as subs.

Can't help but think that Williams was played before fully fit, hence him being out again. I am also wondering if they are borderline but are not being risked in the hope they will be available for the play-offs if we get there. Risky strategy if true.

Here's hoping we see Leigerwood score the winner that sends us though to the playoffs.... It won't be quite the same as his goal to send us up to the Premiership, but a close second (in terms of Leigerwood goals scored)

Would certainly be ironic given the situation last season.

ALF

Would like to see HRK/ALF pairing from Boro if he's fit. With Pog, Hector on as subs.

Be uber harsh to drop Pog after scoring two goals.

Can't see Taylor getting a start unless we play one up though. I reckon it'll be same as Donny, in which case we'd better be prepared to come from behind again.

McCarthy; Gunter, Pearce, Hector, Obita; McCleary, Leigertwood, Taylor, McAnuff; ALF, Pogrebnyak
Subs: Feds, Morrison, Kelly, Akpan, two wingers (order of preference: Drenthe, HRK, Blackman, Stacey), Cardwell

It will be unchanged (except HRK in for Ugwu), but I can dream.

I think the starting 11 is almost irrelevant TBH. If we're bang at it - we'll win. If we're not, we won't.

I have to agree, wouldn't be great for Pog's or ALF's confidence dropping either one of them.

As the central midfield of Ledge and Akpan was poor for 45 minutes vs Donny, I'm a bit worried about how they will cope against a far better Burnley side.

Didn't it all start on international duty? He's been limping through games since. If we'd had Karacan, Baird, Legeirtwood or Guthrie fit, he'd probably have been out and getting sorted for a while.

I recon we'll be set up for attack. In all likelihood a draw's not going to be good enough. Pog and Alf both to start.

As a matter of interest how injured are Williams and Guthrie? If we did make the playoffs would either be able to make it?

McCarthy

Gunter
Pearce(Inho)
Morrison
Obita

McCleary
Leigertwood
Akpan
McAnuff

Pog
Le Fondre

Pains me that a player as average as Akpan has to start in such a massive game but everyone else is oxf*rd injured. Hopefully Williams/Guthrie back for the playoffs.
