I was going to hold fire on SJM, but after he made the comment that money would be available for the January window and not one single move was made, while we played multiple injured players down the stretch (since we had no other choice) to try to get into the play-offs...well I view him as a big part of the problem now. And if he is effectively blocking the sale of the team over the naming rights of the stadium he is even a bigger problem than that.

He has built the team into one that is at the highest levels of English football, and should be a Reading legend, but if what happened this past season continues that legacy will start becoming a tarnished one.

Good read. If anybody matches the valuation of any of our players in our current situation we wont stand in the way.

I just hope we can keep the ones we want to keep, and somehow be able to sign a center half that can play football but maybe sacrifices something defensively to play next to Pearce. And a striker with pace.

Without SJM we would still be in League one / third tier just like we spent about 99% (you do the math, I can't be arsed to work it out to 97.45% or whatever) of out time in the Football League until he saved us.
