Strange choice of OP, given that his wife has posted on here this season saying she can't be arsed to go to matches week after week.
Have a word Schards!

As for whether we'll have enough fans next season: we've had a number of good turnouts for U18s and U21s matches. I'm fairly confident that attendance is not 100% dependent on a massive wage bill.

I'm renewing. If the team on the pitch is made up of U21's and free transfers on low wages so be it. See you next season

Officially OUT for next season unless high earners like Drenthe, Bridge and Guthrie are gotten rid of. Preferably the management team too.

On the contrary, I'm quite looking forward to spending summer saturdays watching attractive young ladies saunter round in pretty dresses 8)

Renewing - always was going to and that won't change whether we are PL or conference.

Question tho - are things as bad as you make out? Talk of administration, 15 point deductions... Some saying it's closer than we realise... Really?

Good decision, you seem like you've needed a break for a few years.

I have not the faintest idea of the truth of things but two large gentlemen in the queue for the bus back to Reading
were behind me. I was talking about the PROMISE and how I saw next season as very-probably a great one, that
the way we played v Burnley showed we could do very well indeed

Said large gentlemen were allegedly "in the know' and said that RFC (I'm quoting)

Were hoping to go into administration THIS season as soon as the POs became unreachable
because the 10-15 point deduction wouldn't have put them at risk of relegation

But because the POs, Wembley and Promotion was still possible, (Adkins Out?) they held off
"and now we will start next season with a minus points score and will be odds-on to go down".

What, so JM & AZ are going to shop their own club for defaulting on their respective loans?

Ridiculous

The FL are wise to this sort of thing and would simply have carried the points deduction over to next season.

For a variety of reasons, I'm not going to renewing my ST for next season, a decision I made many weeks ago (as the OP knows) and which was never dependent on yesterday's result or on whether we were to be promoted or not.

It's not the first time I have been disillusioned by the club (the last time was under Tommy Burns) and I'm sure that one day - as before - my love will be re-kindled and I'm still planning on going to the odd game both home and away next season.

Ironically, I think staying down is a good thing as I believe it means more of our exciting young players coming through the academy can be played (which wouldn't have happened had we gone up). I also feel staying down will hasten the departure of TSI and Anton, as had we gone up they would have been more inclined to hang around (or demand an unrealistic amount for their 51%) and I believe that their leaving of our football club is vital for us to move forward.

If I win a significant amount on the lottery, the first thing I will do is buy a season ticket for the first time in 5 years. However as it is more likely that Drenthe will still be with us in August, I will continue to go to as many games as possible (mainly midlands/northern away ones....of which there are loads next year!)......I hope this is acceptable to everyone.
