Apparently Mourinho has not been out of the top two for any of the clubs he has managed over the past 8 years.
If they now finish 3rd is he suddenly yesterday's man?

Was that the last game for Terry, Cole and Lampard at Stamford Bridge?

i bet you anything he call out their tactics during his interview.

Well he kind of did, but said he was surprised more than anything, having expected them to be all guns blazing, but said he didn't have a right to criticise.

im honestly amazed they didnt win the league. their side has some of the greatest creative players in the world, probably the best midfield in the league, and hands down the best defense in the league, with a top top keeper. the only problem is they dont have a solid striker. they really, really should have done better and they really should have won the league. Mourinho knows it, and hes just trying to play the blame game with refs, players, fans, anything he can even though most of the time the decision went his way and he himself oxf*rd up with the fans and players. pathetic really, to be 50+ and never accept blame for anything. They demolished all the top sides but failed against the bottom half of the table. they didnt have any major major injuries either to oxf*rd them over, and the owner put in a ton of cash to get mourinhos preferred players in. no excuse, especially since at the beginning of the season he lowered the bar saying they never were really in it. This makes either A) look like a genius for winning or B) gives him an outlet to say "told you so" at the end when they fell short, which he is now going to use.

he said at the start of the season Chelsea were not fighting for the league and he did not expect to win anything. I guess that has slipped your mind no doubt because it doesn't suit your argument

Mourinho is just the managerial equivalent of that player that every club has/has had who, what he lacks in ability, he makes up for with chest beating, crowd gesturing, faux love for the club and many fans lap it up and through affection forgive yhem their misgivings.

They just recently had Di Matteo and Benitez who both delivered major trophies when given a short amount of time, an underperforming team and either no or little financial resourse to bring in new players. But they would rather have someone who beats his chest and claims to be one of them, even though it was widely reported that he was in tears and behaving pretty badly when he discovered he didn't get the Man Utd job. He just always comes across as if he is desperately trying to say the next thing that will keep Chelsea fans on his side.

read somewhere earlier that he spent €130M since returning to Chelsea.

Talking of Benitez, congratulations to him for winning the Coppa Italia this weekend.

For those wondering that is one more trophy than Mourinho has managed this season.

Anyone else tired of Torres looking like a miserable git all the time? He never looks like he wants to be on the pitch.

When he was preparing to come on the pitch he spent more time adjusting his hair than paying attention to what the manager was saying to him.
