Cheers for that! It's such a simple design as well... makes you wonder how puma have managed to mess it up year after year

Waitrose are the new sponsors of the England Cricket team, could mean the end of our partnership, new sponsor watch begins (possibly)

It's because we're not important enough to demand our own template. There's no profit in Puma spending time, effort and money designing a different cut for us. Most teams have a simpler colour pattern (no hoops), so a bit of styled embellishment breaks up the monotony of a plain red/blue/white shirt which you won't be able to sell on consecutive years.

That Nike design is perfect, but Waitrose in black. Oh well, Puma it is for another season at least.

It's got bugger all to do with importance. Windsor FC have a new, unique design for next season which will raise eyebrows and, in some cases, have people being sick all over the place. And it is not as if Macron are a small supplier either.

It's all about having enough to differentiate each kit from the previous to make people buy the latest one.

If they stuck to the kit we nearly all want, ie a simple narrow'ish blue and white hoops with white shorts and socks, they couldn't flog as many every season.

We could do with a sponsor that brings in more money anyway. We're always way down the lists in the PL and Championship when it comes to sponsor income. I'll have to try and dig out the latest table if I can find it. I do quite like Waitrose though. It's not ugly on a kit unlike many others.

Never been quite sure why we've never been able to get one of the richer Tech companies around here to sponsor us.

Microsoft sponsor Seattle, so it's not like they don't sponsor football clubs and we must get at least as much global coverage (recently) as Seattle do.

It'd be a shame to lose Waitrose. Definitely preferable to any soulless betting company.

Or even worse a pay day loan company

This guy clearly can't handle the truth, I'll give you odds of 1,000/1 that my above statement is correct.

Or even HAT painting!

That said, I really do hope we have a better kit for next season. Oh and yes, HOOPS to go all the way round and no FúCkInG back panel. I reckon that the horrible kit is the main reason why we missed out on the playoffs. You read it here first!

The Puma contract runs until the end of next season (14/15), but they haven't signed a new deal yet. They've been speaking to new suppliers over the last couple of months. No idea about the Waitrose contract.

You're probably right but the complete lack of qualification of your statement makes it a bit empty. It would appear that you're just guessing out of thin air. Would you care to explain the logic behind your grand sweeping statement?
