Nothing more than a rumour, but apparently we and a few League One and Championship clubs have been looking at 17 year old AFC Dronfield 'wonderkid' James Kay, who's been likened to a young Claude Makelele. Sheffield United are supposedly leading the chase for him.

Not sure why a Makelele - type would be known as a wonderkid.
You don't normally call defensive midfielders (or centre backs) "wonderkids". That term is usually used for "flair" players.
