I've got nothing new to add really but wanted to add my name to those who are sad to see him go and who will miss him. He was a great servant to our club, always gave 100% and was a source of experience and advice for the younger players. All cliches I know but, in Jobi's case, they are true. He also came across as an articulate, caring guy who was passionate about Reading FC. Best wishes for the future Jobi - I salute you!

We've still got McCleary and Obita, but it looks like twatkins prefers his teams to dick around with it in their own half rather than tearing up the wings and crossing it in for strikers to bang home.
I reckon he might follow McD somewhere, whether that's Leeds or not who knows.
I can't imagine it's totally a wages thing either. Players his age accept wage decreases as they get into the autumn of their career. Remember how long it took twatkins to even select him? Christmas ish. Clearly the two don't get along. That'll be because McAnuff is quality and twatkins sucks ass!

Looking back on it now, we played our best football when Jobi wasnt in the team, we were playing Roy in the hole with pace out wide with Hal and G Mac. Ok we were not getting reaults but if we stuck with we would have got their, just look at Liverpool. I would prefer us to play good football and miss out on the playoffs than hoof ball and miss out on the playoffs. Im not saying Jobi wouldnt have fittes into that system but you know that if he is playong its becuase Nigel wants to be more direct.

Made me laugh when people were trailing this line earlier this season as if to disprove all evidence to the contrary that we weren't improving under Adkins. Best start to a season in 8 whole years....when we had a better start. 3 of those intervening seasons were in the Premier League, of course. And we only actually won 2 of our opening 6 league games in any case. And got absolutely humiliated against a lower division team in the cup. As Loyd Grosman himself used to say: "THE CLUES ARE THERE".

Then people pointed out that words of dissent were wide of the mark as we had somehow made it to December unbeaten at home. Thereafter we won a whopping 3 games at the Madj.
