He wont have long left.

Why?

How long does any manager last when the fans turn against them? Season ticket sales are also very low so far in protest.

Plenty of time when the fans have already turned against the Chairman and he likes the manager.

They were supposed to be interested before Mel came in. I don't mind if it means Dolan getting the job, and I think he would do too.

Feel for the bloke - he picked up a bad squad and actually got them doing well, what more could he have done....

...been a bit more reserved? I can't help but think that his laddish personality may have contributed to him not appearing to be the right candidate in the long term...

Maybe but he was only speaking the truth. I guess Levy wants a yes man in charge....

Moyes would be a decent choice, similar club to Everton without the pressure of Utd

Yep. He kept slating the players in public and you have to be a bit cleverer than that. Ok, no-one wants Adkins-style soundbites from their manager, but you have to keep certain criticisms in the dressing room, surely. And I would dispute that he had a 'bad squad' :!:

Agreed re: Moyes though, said weeks ago he'd end up at Spurs.

Was at the Ledley King testimonial last night. Sherwood was due to play for the 'Legends' XI but came out, did his warm up with the rest of them, but applauded all sides of the ground before disappearing down the tunnel and not being seen again.

When i say "bad squad" i'm talking in that they were thrown together from the sale of Bale.....they need time to gel and adapt to the English game - i think only Eriksen has proved he's a decent signing, at the moment.
