I've always had you down as mid 40s.

Partridge the thug has gone. Happy with that. Apparently he wants to take up boxing. Probably more suited to it too.

maffff u18:
GK: Ward, Southwood+
Def: Ethelston, Jules, McIntyre, Osho, Watson,
Mid: Collins, Husin, Lawal, Sheppard, Urbancic, Waritay,
Att: Barrett, Cardwell, Novakovich, Odoffin*, Williams

u16:
GK: McAdden, Wingate
Def:
Mid: Chatee, East, Farah, Fowodu, Roache,
Att:
Unknown position: Alexis, Denton, Frost, Akinwunmi, Thompson-Lee, Harrison Bennett

Harrison Bennett is his full name. He's a defender, like Akinwunmi. Chatee can play in midfield or defence (like Goddard or Raymond or Sheppard). Thompson-Lee is a winger. East is a central midfielder. Those will all be stepping up.

McIntyre is only 15 (currently Year 10, moving into Year 11) so is "entitled" to another year in the U16s, though don't be surprised if he plays a lot for the U18s in the second half of next season. Having said that, I imagine Jules and Ethelston will be the first choice pairing at centre back and won't be needed in the U21s, so he could end up in a more advanced position.

maffff http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/contracts-offered-130514-1550264.aspx

Add to those leaving De'Juane Taylor Crossdale, Germaine Ofori and Jack Jeffrey.

I'll freely admit to not knowing a lot about our youth players - are these releases at all surprising? The club usually seems to get it right with regards to letting young players go so I'm guessing not.

I feel like that's a really cheeky headline on the article. "18 contracts offered" but they're including the ones signed earlier in the season. Really it should be "5 contracts offered".

I'm disappointed to see Sheperd Murombedzi leave. I've been impressed with him in u21s games that I've been to. But I'm sure they know what they're doing. :?

Also does anyone know what the situations with Niall Keown and Pierce Sweeney are? Transfermarkt.co.uk, which is usually reliable, lists both of them as being out of contract yet neither of them were mentioned in the article.

Shep was winning some decent reviews while out on loan this season, OK it was only Bognor ;) but even so.

It's not really been a year to remember on the loan front with D'Ath, Arnold, Shep, Partridge & Karl Sheppard all getting released by the club.

Not as cheeky as the Tilehurst End article

http://thetilehurstend.sbnation.com/201 ... rs-sign-on

"Youth Stars Sign On".

Highlighting that Gozie Ugwu, Nick Arnold, Lawson D'Ath, Matt Partridge and Shepherd Murombedzi have all left the club.

We've let Quim-Quim Bogie leave us to join Staines Town?

Just read up on why some posters called Partridge a 'thug' - no wonder we've got rid of him, he'll be straight to prison soon!
