Not gutted for Derby at all, the fans yes, the players no.

They threw it and that defending.
That is the kind of defending that will make you cry and after seeing Reading's defence this season.... I don't feel like sympathising...

Thank goodness someone smashed it in, can't say as I feel that sorry for Derby. They'd have been there until next weekend trying to score - simply not enough quality where it mattered.

I had a feeling that would happen. Just didn't seem like Derby's day, and when QPR started to get some of the ball I just knew they would go on and score.

For me, I can't think why he took off Hughes. He looked lively and skillful and seemed like the kind of player who would create something.

Gotta love a 90th min winner though

Can't see Derby keeping Hughes, Martin, Bryson etc next season

Serves Shtevey right for taking the one player off who looked like he might have the guile to break down the two very deep banks of four that QPR set up.

Fair play to them. Always liked Bobby.

Hughes Off, Bryson (16 goals and POTS) On
Hughes wasn't playing that well really.

He wasn't playing that well but he was lively and creative, actually looking on to make something happen. Bryson should have been put on regardless though.

The Derby supporters will remember this one like the way we remember the one against Bolton in '95. I really don't give a shit about the players. I feel for the supporters though. :(

Derby had 3 CMs on the pitch.
He wanted to bring Bryson (16 goals and PoTS) on.
He's not going to play 4 CMs.
So he took off Hughes, who was having the worst game of all 3 CMs.
Seems fair enough.

Nothing wrong with putting Bryson on, but they really didn't need both Hendrick and Thorne on the pitch against 10 men. Hughes wasn't playing that well, but he has the ability to produce a moment of magic that they were massively lacking in thoselast 20 mins.

frimmers3 congatulations to qpr and 'arry...karma pays off for one of footballs nice guys.

I'm going to reject entering a game of frimmerwang but I'm struggling to see any karma in this.

Have you been taking tips from Kes?

Anyhoo, as our Aldershot loving friend's HNA? role model might say, picked QPR in the poll. 8)

+1

He could have taken Russell off for Bryson and moved Hughes further forward perhaps?

Dawkins, who came on for Russell, offered nothing aside from a shanked pass to Wisdom when they were really putting the pressure on. Hughes, with his creative talent can't have faired much worse in an advanced position.

oxf*rd off QPR you lucky lucky bastards.

90 mins defending and one shot on target. I hate football there is no justice, the cheaters always seem to prosper.

At least QPR can have empty seats in the Premier League now.
