Belgium manager made too many subs last night in their 5-1 win meaning the result, Lukaku's hat trick and Januzaj's debut are all scrubbed out. Januzaj could still go and play for another country.

At least it keeps them under the radar.

I can't see Belgium doing much in the World Cup if they can't even beat Luxembourg.

Don't see us winning tonight with that line up but it's a team of the future. Lets see it.

Shaw disappointing for that goal, and the space the winger is allowed to cross with is enough for me to know Milner shouldn't be near Right back.

Shame to concede, because it's been totally one sided in England's favour. Complete dominance otherwise.

Yeh looking good going forward, but our defense is incredibly inexperienced for this level.

I really want to like James Milner but he's not making it easy...

Hopefully the Ox is okay, but not massively worried as think Sterling (deserved red card btw) is a better option.

Barkley is a serious talent but not quite ready to start yet imo.

Lambert will make an impact off the bench in the next few weeks.

Being a friendly, surely he could still play for another country anyway....

I thought Chelsea hero Frank Lampard was gash tonight too.

Ox and Barkley looked great, and brilliant finish by Lambert. We looked alright going forward but can't defend like that against Italy.

Prandelli's Italy in friendlies: 4 W, 9 D, 9 L.

In competitive matches: 20 W, 8 D, 3 L (losses to Spain x 2, Brazil)"

Let's face it, Jagielka ain't exactly international class but if Smalling plays at any stage this month there could be a lot of peek-a boo TV watchers.

Not being funny but why did we play a South American side so close to the World Cup, everyone knows they will go in hard and play dirty and now cos of it Ox is out with knee ligament damage. We would have been better off playing a Norway or Iceland

Can't see how that was a deserved red card at all.
He won the ball, and caught Valencia with his trailing leg.

The only reason he got sent off was because of Valencia's reaction.

He was over the top of the ball, so although he touched it - it was reckless IMHO

Yep, Valencia got them both sent off there, well done Antonio.

Ox was class this evening and demonstrated why I've been saying for months he should start for England. Much more complete player than Sterling.

Barkley worked his way into the game and had a good one by the end, but I agree with Roy that he needs to do a lot better with the ball once he's turned.

Good: Lambert

Bad: Foster, Milner, Shaw, Jones, Smalling (!!)
