Pepe the Horseman
East Grinstead Royal
Pepe the Horseman Announced next week.

Predictions?

My m8 at the FA reliably informs me that we'll be at home to Rotherham on the opening day. I'll be in Amsterdam, so if he's wrong and we're away at Brentford, I'll be livid.

Sadly, we are not in the Premier League, so it has FA to do with the FA.

He works for the FA and knows the guy who prints the fixtures for the Football League.

Home to Rotherham it is, then!

Think it would be quite nice to start away seeing as we've seldom done that in the recent past. However due to the fact that we have to be away on the 23rd (Match day 4) due to the festival it seems likely we'll start at home. http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article ... 64566.aspx

Also, looking at the FIFA calendar (http://www.fifa.com/aboutfifa/calendar/events.html), there doesn't seem to be any Wednesdays scheduled for a round of international friendlies :D but there are four international weekends (November and March rather than November or March) which means there will be ten fixtures originally scheduled for a Tuesday night as opposed to just seven last season :(

Being at Uni in Birmingham though I just pray that Birmingham, Wolves, Derby and Forest away are all during term time and Derby and Forest are on Saturday afternoons.
Was cheesed off this season that Leicester away was Boxing Day, Derby away was the week before I came up and Forest away was a Friday night and the last train leaving Nottingham was 9.30pm :x

Gunnarsson's_Gunners Probably going to get a shitty capital one cup 1st round clash against Carlisle away when the Cup fixtures are released

Well that can't happen as the 1st round is regionalised and seeded. We will face one of the non-seeded teams in the South Section:

South Section (Non Seeds)
19. AFC Wimbledon
20. Cambridge United
21. Cheltenham Town
22. Colchester United
23. Coventry City
24. Crawley Town
25. Dagenham & Redbridge
26. Exeter City
27. Gillingham
28. Luton Town
29. Newport County
30. Northampton Town
31. Oxford Untied
32. Plymouth Argyle
33. Portsmouth
34. Southend United
35. Stevenage
36. Wycombe Wanderers

Away at one of Colchester, Dagenham, Newport or Northampton for me please; failing them AFC Wimbledon cos it's so close to home.

Just realised that this, which I said earlier didn't quite make sense. Three extra midweek games but only one is due to the extra international break. The other two are due to the season starting a week later and there being no game on New Year's Day. I know no-one else cares but, as a nerd, I couldn't live with myself knowing I'd put an incomplete fact on the internet.

Green Brentford away for sure.

got to be a London Royals meat-up for the four corner-pubs.

Only been to Brentford as a kid (2-2 in around 1977 was the last time. Scored directly from a corner).

For the cup, anyone at home, can't get time off work in August.

The last person in our group is 18 on Febrary 16th, so I want all the good ones after then!

floyd__streete Hastily assembled AFC Reading's first fixture will be a local derby away at Hartney Wintney.

IN!

Coach 1 will be leaving Scours Lane at 9am and stopping at Fleet Services en route.

What utter nonsense Floyd.

You'd go down through Eversley.

FLOLeet Services. Pffffft. Diesel doesn't grow on trees.

My first visit to Griffin Park. Bruce Stuckey scored the late equaliser direct from a corner, as you say. Gordon Cumming was sent off IIRC.
