I have Mexico in work sweepstake. Maybe I won't only have a sniff at "dirtiest team".

Can't say the officials have got off to a flier! Some shocking decisions already.

(Still, it's nice that the goal line tech is being used for the most bl8tant goals, just for the shits and giggles.)

Great weather as well; like watching a game being played in an active car wash for 90 minutes!

Just how poor were Cameroon; they really seem to be going backwards at the moment.

Sutekh Are the officials playing by new laws of the game or are they just incompetent?

Blatter to refs. 'Right to hide the fact we rigged the first match I need one of you tk go out and be incompetent but not affect the outcome.'

I think Mexico gets out of this group along with, of course, Brazil. They are, using a gambling term, playing with the house's money. They were dead and buried with no hope of qualifying until the US scored 2 second half injury time goals against Panama in the last qualifier to knock them out and get Mexico into the play-in game which they won. So in a sense they have nothing to lose, they are going to let it all hang out...and they have enough talent, despite how utterly shambolic they were in qualifying, to get through. Plus they are very used to playing in very hot conditions.

Mexico by far is the US's biggest rival, so it pains me to say this, but I see Mexico going further than the US in this tournament. :|

I've obviously underrated Mexico, but at the risk of doing it again I expect Croatia to beat them with some ease.

Thought this would be shit between two shit sides, but Mexico really could have smacked them by 4/5. Terrible officiating in the early games.
