Same thing would have applied to Sir John's approach, so the fact that his smile is quite as wide as it is in that photo makes me feel reasonably confident that he's happy with the deal. Also good to have a guy who has an obvious interest in football rather than the Sagi-type businessmen that wouldn't give a hoot.

Angry Shed Sex Is he a Baht Billionaire or Sterling?

I'm probably a Baht billionnaire if I'm right in thinking that about 1000 Baht is 50p

What a sad time to be a Leeds Utd supporter when you can't even entice the Youth Academy manager away from little old Reading FC to be your manager. Hahaha dirty Leeds

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insee_Police_United_F.C.

The wiki page of Police United sounds like it has been dragged backwards through google translate but, interestingly there is absolutely no mention of our Samrit. Obvs it's wiki so not reliable but still strange.

Perhaps the new owner will upset everyone by changing the Reading strip to checked shirt, chaps, Stetson and mask, leading to the Samrit Bandit Kit Saga.

And as always these days, the BBC is last and least precise with the news.

Norfolk Royal http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/silent-figure-at-heart-of-blues-revolution-965914

Strikes me this bloke wouldn't be involved in our takeover unless there were some serious figures involved.

Exactly.

Or the BBC is the most accurate because it is speculating less than others?

right so now that we have a name, how much is he actually worth? i couldnt find anything on the internet. getreading said he is paying 35m for 90% while other sources say he is wiping out the debt and paying 5m...hopefully we will get the truth soon as i would personally rather have the debt paid off completely before starting life with the new owner. is this also his personal wealth, family wealth, or company wealth. last time we dealt with an owner who had family wealth and he wasnt able to deliver on his promises once his dad stopped funding him...lots of questions.
