Royal Rother Yeah he's cool, but am I alone in thinking there's been a fair bit more style than substance to his contributions so far.
I'd go along with that. He's a bit too cool, calm and collected at times too and could do with looking a little bit more interested once in a while. They're there to add to the experience and the event not for me that means add to the excitement and be engaging. I'd agree that he talks a lot without saying much.
I also agree in regards to Rio too. He was very awkward reading out his prepared intro to the Spanish team before the game the other day but when he's just talking freely and off the cuff he offers quite a lot.
Phil Nev has been the weakest of the BBC's boys for me. Again, as much as I like a dour approach he's there to add to the entertainment and his downbeat monotone co-commentary wasn't much fun during the England game.
