OK. I'll start it.

Still wake after that shower of a England match so, might as well watch. I'd like to see the Japs beat the Bubbles just to annoy the Chinese (Who are on a bit of a high after beating Macedonia in a friendly the other day). So far, they are dominating possession but not looking very likely to do anything with it.

That was a decent effort though.

Second yellow for the Greek Captain (Katsoararse or something) after only 37 minutes (Both fully deserved). Greeks, however, come fairly close to taking the lead straight afterward. Good save by the Jap keeper.

The Greeks seem intent on kicking Japanese people seeing how many yellow cards they can get.

The Japs have created a couple of reasonable scoring chances in the last few minutes but they seem to have England-itis (I.e. Nobody wants to take responsibility for shooting and, probably, missing).

Japs deserved to win.... But didn't.

Greeks treat it as a bit of a victory (I suppose getting anything for themselves without having to be bailed out by the Germans is progress).

Very good defensive performance by Greece. Can't really have a go at them for being unambitious, it's what they do and they probably had the better chances on the counter. Had high hopes for Japan but they've not impressed this tournament.

As for the notion that Japan 'deserved to win' - as the Atletico Madrid captain said the other day, 'you don't deserve titles, you win them.' They were more positive but barely created a serious scoring chance and had no clue how to break down the Greek defence.
