LUX
Green No, please don't paint me as some kind of luddite. In fact I'm glad those cowboys went to the wall.

+1

what right did they have to use the term "Britannica"? That lent it an air of authenticity it did not deserve, frankly.

mind you, it helped me with my homework back in the 1970's. In my dressing gown and jimjams, just after my Sunday bath/Songs of Praise and before Last of the Summer Wine/All Creatures Great and Small.

My Sunday evening was "sing something simple" then the charts (for us kids) then the world about us http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGTnZ0mAhMY

we also took in the ones you mentioned.

PieEater I think Roy's attitude is pretty disrepectful to the competition and the fans that have travelled there.

He should be trying to win the game and playing his best team, if needs be trying a different formation but not just giving everyone a game.

This team is stronger than that of the two previous games because of the absence of Gerrard, Johnson, Welbeck, Rooney

Just Lampard and Milner to get rid of now

Marchisio has made life unnecessarily difficult for Italy there.

He's got to get another ban for that.

80 mins: Meanwhile in the other match, Suarez appears to have bitten Chiellini in the shoulder. It's not as clear as the Ivanovic episode, but …

Disbelief.

WTAF is quite apt.

Definite bite. Surely he's got to get a ban for that

It's the live game here, and the German commentator is convinced. Chellini was not a happy man and tried to whack him round the back of the head. He then chased the ref showing him his shoulder. No card that I could see so could well be dealt with afterwards. If proved, he should get a very, very long ban.

Wouldn't surprise me if he is looking at a 6 month/season long ban, as a third incident, plus the racism.

Liverpool now have a player they can't play or sell.

Not sure how far FIFA's jurisdiction extends to with regard domestic matches.

Couple of commentaries saying he has actually chipped or lost a tooth doing it.
