No Fixed Abode Echo's of Spurs last season with all these signings Liverpool are making.

What would you do?
IMHO there is nobody available as a proven tip-top striker so why not spread the money a bit and strengthen the squad?
Just because Spurs only got it partly right and mainly wrong doesn't mean that Liverpool wil do the same.
BTW it is so far just two signings that Liverpool have made whereas some other clubs have bought more.

Incidentally West Brom look as though they are preparing for life in the Championship after next season with the quality of players they are signing and Fulham are having a massive clear out with the likes of Hangeland, Sidwell,Ruiz etc. moving on.

IMO - Spurs brought in too many players in one hit. The same as Liverpool are doing by the looks of it.

Kind of forced on Liverpool with CL football, given their squad of first-teamers only really numbered 16 or 17, when you take out the youngsters like Coady and Texeira who were on the bench quite a lot.

Spurs didn't get Willian too. Very strange policy all round of just trying to buy every attacking midfielder on the market.

Pepe the Horseman Willy to City.

€8M. Being claimed in Spain that he agreed to join only as he will be first choice and Hart is on his way out of City.

Claudio Bravo to Barcelona for €13M

Juan Bernat to Bayern Munich for €10M

Jan Oblak to Atletico for €20M

Insane. I'd like to see a list of other players to move for around £11m in the last year.

Robert Lewandowski, Mats Hummels, Neven Subotic and Lukas Piszczek cost Borussia Dortmund around £12m combined.

Fulham seemed to be doing the sensible thing post relegation by shifting high earners off the payroll, but it just turns out they were getting thr cash together to waste pn a single player, mentals

The Belgian they signed - Orgini ? - is going to be loaned out to Liege for the season I believe so they obviously see him as one for the future. Interesting to see if they get Alexis Sanchez off Barcelona as part of any Suarez deal.
