Purely footballing reasons. I actually like Brazil, but from the opening game, this particular Brazilian team have been lavished with hype despite being cynical, disorganised, uninspiring and generally horrible to watch.

Germany have been everything Brazil haven't been, and the Argentinians have got better and better throughout the tournament by being organised and having a star player who's been highly influential in every game without having to carry the whole team.

Yeah, without Thiago Silva I don't know how the rest of them could possibly be expected to keep the score down below 7.

Noted how if officials are determined to do something about an issue - namely keeper obstruction at free-kicks and wrestling in the box, it's actually pretty damn easy to do so.

Would be great to see a clamp down on that in English football next season.
