If the deal is indeed OFF , and I am not convinced then JM needs to take a long hard look at himself, how many more f*ck ups can this club take before it implodes?

CLOLassic HNA. Find something without any evidence for being true and criticise the club/management/ownership as though it were completely confirmed fact.

Textbook.

robinsfriday does have a track record - for being hopelessly incorrect and often aligning himself in the past with the roflable Friday's Legacy.

Not according to robinsfriday:

robinsfriday This is Friday's Legacy. The guy is spot on. And for the record it's true. WWFC have just said so themselves.

If the deal has fallen through I am not sure if it would be a bad thing in the long term, as Thailand seems to have constant political problems.

Short term we'd probably have to sell 2 or 3 but I have set my sights very low this season, so if we avoid relegation that will be a bonus.

I just hope that one day we get the right owner who really wants to drive this club forward.

I had to laugh as my wife's family all live in Gateshead and support Newcastle and are amazed that several hundred of us haven't marched along to the ground demanding answers. I just say it's not the Reading way.

Nameless
Elmer Park
I would have thought a bond would have to be repaid in the event of the collapse of the deal and together with the increasing interest adding to the Vibrac debt that would make the club even less interesting to other reputable buyers.
.

Depends entirely on the terms of the deal. Perhaps Begbys told Samrit that he could buy 'first refusal' for a £5 million non refundable deposit. Gives him a real incentive to complete the deal. If it was refundable you would suspect he might have pulled the plug by now and asked for him money back.
I'd assume that the deal is still more likely to happen than not , if SJM really thought it was in danger he'd be back talking to other interested parties and certainly Samuelson would be agitating for talks to reopen with his people.

I'll give that statement due diligence

As I said, I read somewhere it was placed in an escrow account. Like a deposit, we can't spend it until the rest of the payment is received.

The deal is definitely happening or perhaps not.

If it is falling through then Samrit's FB account is going to get very friendless very quickly.

If it does fall through, I'm guessing he might have to shut that account down.
