largetrousers Things could be much worse - we could be Blackpool - they only have 8 senior players contracted to play for them!

But they've just sold Tom Ince so have loads of cash to invest....weren't they talking 8 million this time last year ?

He was out of contract - but as he's under 23 (?) they will receive some compensation, but it won't be 8 million ....

Indeed, he's played them for fools seeing out last year on loan and running his contract down. They will get a fraction of what he was worth a year ago and he'll be pocketing a nice big signing on fee. Can't blame him really, but Blackpool have played it badly....

Sky Sports this AM-Jamie O Hara available ? But he says hes prepared to take a pay cut from Premier League wages-that means we'd have to pay him £30k to £40k-if he agreed £20k plus performance bonuses worth a punt.

Incidentally what dipstick writes these contracts-Prem League wages -what four years after Wolves being in the Prem !

He is **** and has a bad attitude. 20k a week is not worth a punt at all even if it is a free transfer...

Yeah, lets keep on doing what got us in trouble under Anton, paying name players above the odds so they can fail to deliver the goods.

If the transfer has actually gone through and we are allowed to buy some players, we may actually have a decent season! The next six weeks will tell all of us what to expect. The problem, of course, is that the real steals for the Championship have already been bought AND we are still without a strike-force. I seriosly hope that we do have a decent scouting network who have found top strikers!
