SPARTA I voted for Kevin Girdler's Sing For The Royals because I'm a traditional old fart, but I do like Sweet Caroline. Be great to hear the fans singing it!
I've always ALWAYS hated that song. It just grates on me.

P!ssed Off Embrace - Ashes my choice.

Don't associate Sweet Caroline massively with the football.

Sweet Caroline should be the obvious choice.
That Embrace song is so fcuking ghey. I hate it. I just checked on You Tube to see if it was as ghey as I remembered & it is.
Sweet Caroline is a proper, feel good classic.
Plus people can sing it which is a huge factor - you can't sing Embrace.

Mr.Swainey Voting for a 'club anthem' is incredibly gay, and another reason why Reading have some of the worst supporters around. Who gives a shit.

Mr.Swainey We have more important issues at hand than choosing a piece of music that will be played for 3 minutes before kick-off. How about giving us an update on the ownership situation, explaining why ticket prices are so high, and why Nigel Adkins is still in a job.

See now I do not agree with this one bit. The club asked for feedback on making the match day experience / atmosphere better & lots of people responded. They have listened to the response and put it in the fans' hands which is good work on their part.
The problem with Reading fans is not choosing an anthem, it's the Reading fans who would rather berate others for trying to improve the atmosphere & have a bit of a laugh because they're too worried about what other people think of them.

Why don't you wake up and realise it's 2014? By now we have internet engagement with fans. If a bit of proactive work by the club creates an anthem which is bellowed out in 50 years time then who gives a oxf*rd.

The club have better things to be getting on with.
