I have never gone through the process of making these kind of funds available for a multi-million pound purchase and being one of many in a consortium, but I am guessing it is a bit more complicated than logging into HSBC with my pin thingy and hitting transfer.. (after green button, pin code, green button, pin code, yellow button, last 4 digits of account number, yellow button, enter unique code)

Indeed. Shifting substantial funds across some EMEA countries is still very time consuming, requires detailed legal paperwork, and can take weeks. Often large sums need to be split into to easier to handle chunks.( and thus ensuring that no local laws are being broken)

I Have no idea what Thailands current requirements are for same, but would not be surprised ( especially under the auspices of a Junta) that theyre equally difficult, and time hungry.

BR2 This money coming in as dribs and drabs is very odd-are the buyers having a whip round every few days and then sending the pool of money over?
I partly agree with Sparta about not being that concerned about who owns the club but the thought of us not buying a new striker and seeing Kanu trot out on Saturday 16th fills me with.....I don't know what, whether that be with dread, angst or maybe even "whatever" I'll know on the day.
I'm just waiting for the mad man to do his normal pre-season nonsense about ambition.

Some of us will see HRK trot out on the 9th. Plastic.

But it only takes criminal masterminds seconds to transfer billions in the movies.....

loyalroyaldaz If this isnt done next week then the Swansea Friendly should be interesting if the Mad Man decides to show his face.

If this goes on, I shall bid for the Club myself using money that I win on Euromillions this coming Friday. p.s. Is it a Jackpot? I want to know how much I'll have left after buying the Club for £1.00!

kanu played for Harry previously so there may be more to this than meets the eye, possibly not in the way Jim thinks though !
Did Harry run through every player of the last decade or so and give a thumbs up or down ?
