El Diablo
Hendo
Fezza Certainly not the best Ferdinand we've ever had, but definitely the best Anton in recent times!

:?:

I seem to remember Les being pretty bad.

Yep. He was absolute pants.

Wasn't Les responsible for the worst miss ever at the Madejski?
Blazed it over the bar from 1 yard out I seem to recall.

Any chance a Mr Cocks might be interested in a house in Lowers?

It's no new thing that owners want to bring in their own player like they're in a real life version of Champ Manager - Anton signing Pogrebnyak for example or Roman Abramovich signing Shevchenko.

So what does our new owner do? Brings in Anton facking Ferdinand :snoop:

I know you are prone to have obsessions, Victor, but I thought your latest obsession was against Billy Sharp, it now appears to be Anton Ferdinand!! Can you really handle more than one obsession against players we haven't signed yet? Good luck!!

Can't believe some morons are slating a central defender for an o.g.
Marcelo scored one in the opening game of the world cup. Is he sh1t too?
If it goes through i think he's a great addition to the squad.
Ferdinand will bring out the best in Pearce/ Morro as they like to attack the ball and Ferdinand can cover and use the ball.

If we can get Mackie and a left back too, this could well turn out to be a good season...
All the players we're linked with are seasoned pros, so should settle in very quickly too

+1......... Some people are too quick to judge. Not sure who they actually expect us to sign?

I think some of our fans have their heads in the sand.

If they think that Ferdinand is the answer to our prayers GOD HELP US!

+1 apart from the implication that Marcello isn't shit.

Not obsessions my old m8-just agree with Mags and quite a few of the others that he is not very good.
Likewise Billy Sharp.]

That's not what we are saying......... Surely you give a player a chance??
I expect you will be someone who moans whines, and gets on a players back after the 1st mistake they make.....

This isn't Sunday League football where you might "give a chance" to a player.
This is a discussion board not a rumblestix club for RFC where we give our views on players-some we like, some we don't like.
We moan on here, not at a game where a player gets support as , for better or worse, he is one of our players and the good thing is that most of the moaning is done on here and not on match day.

Also the poster who thinks that we are against signing Ferdinand just because of an own goal needs to lighten up.
Once upon a time this board was good fun but it has unfortunately become oh so serious and dull as our posters get younger and younger..

This would be a good signing if for no other reason than any posters who think John Terry is a God will implode at the news................. :D
