Couldn't we get Gylfi on loan until end of the season and when we go up thanks to his marvellous free kicks, we can sign him permanently.

Guly Do Prado is on his way to Reading on a free transfer from Southampton. Former Saints manager Nigel Adkins is also hoping to tie up a £400,000 deal for Southampton outcast Billy Sharp, who is keen to rejoin Reading on a permanent deal; however it is unclear if wages will be a problem, with the club needing to make drastic cuts this summer.

He was only on loan til the end of this season, so I'd be surprised if Donny tied themselves down to a guaranteed 1-year offer on Championship wages.

Reading are trying to bring Wilfred Zaha to the club in a £3.5m deal. He'll be the big summer signing, with lower fee/free's around him.
Dean Hammond fee also being discussed with Leicester.
Reading also monitoring Roberts at Chesterfield who ripped League 2 apart last season, player of the year, and looks a big prospect.
