I'm guessing that Guthrie needs the minutes in his legs to build up match fitness and that Akpan will be given a chance to stake his claim. It would also be nice to see a bit more of the kids but I don't think the defensive players sound quite ready yet, although perhaps Griffin or Owusu might come in at left back.
