He averaged better than a goal every other game for Scunny in the Championship.

Norwich's top scorer last season, not saying much. Last seen wandering around Norwich on a pair of crutches recently according to my sources.

He's not the sort of player who creates his own chances but to be fair he looked the only player for Nodge last season who was actually capable of scoring.

Would describe him as a slightly more mobile ALF. We'd have to pay in the region of £5-million to get him and he'll be on big wages.

8 goals in 34 appearances last season if you include the League Cup.

£6-million in total I think. Norwich don't have to sell so they'd want their money back. Unless the Thais want to make some sort of statement marquee signing I really don't think this is a goer. He's better than what we have but not by much, and certainly not for the money we'd have to pay.

Celtic fans reckon £5.5m and they've got a 10% sell on clause.

That would only apply, of course, if he is sold for more than £5.5m. His record at Naarge may suggest he might be offloaded for less. Or, as Royalwaster pointed out, he might just be loaned out while they see how their other strikers perform in the Champ.

He'd be an amazing signing, but we really do need pace up front. I can't see us coughing up even £4m for him. Would be very  if we did. Perhaps McCarthy's impending sale will fund it, who knows.

Depends

If its on profit, then yes but if its like we had with Long it could be on total transfer fee

There's no chance of this happening. Why would Norwich let him go? They just received 8m for Leroy Fer so it's unlikely they need the money, and its not like they have an array of better attacking options than Hooper.

Bustling more than pacey I would say, though not on crutches.

Would rather Wells. Both would cost the same as well.

Apparently, he's a pacy, bustling type of quick.
