I don't think we would go for him but I actually think he would make a bit of sense.

- We have lost our two best dead-ball delivery specialists
- He is probably better than Guthrie in set piece delivery
- Technically a good player and has been good at Prem level/young enough
- Whilst we have a lot of midfielders and may mean one or two of ledge/carrico/karacan/guthrie going, I do expect Adkins to play 3 in the middle a fair amount this season

Drenthe takes a decent free-kick. No idea what he's about at corners. Can't be worse than McAnuff tbf.

Cancelled his contract with Wolves today. Has the experience we desperately need with the youth team we are playing at the moment. Better than Akpan so I would take him

His Mrs, ex-Mrs I mean, is as fit as tbf so would be a good addition to the West stand.

LightwaterRoyal Used to be a big admirer of him, think he suffers from injuries quite a lot though and he hasnt been very good these past couple of seasons.


Definitely our type of player then.
