None in, none out

Would be happy with 2 quality additions in, not just quantity. Including a striker. And if we can shift Akpan that would be a bonus.

This is the correct answer.

I too am fearing interesting interest in Obita. If he goes then maybe we'll get a young player on loan from whichever club he goes to.

Two in seems a reasonable estimate. I'll say they will be two players who haven't been linked yet, maybe one from Southampton.

If one of the signings is a midfielder, Akpan to go back to Crawley.

Final prediction is that a lot of fans will be underwhelmed and Adkins will be disappointed and will do an interview tomorrow through gritted teeth, pretending to be pleased and reminding everyone the loan window reopens in a week or so.

2 out none in

"we are happy with the squad, but there may be an opportunity in the loan market"

fast forward a month

1 out on loan, none in

"we are happy with the squad, Khul will benefit from a loan period"

Redknapp is a long time admirer of Obita. He enquired about him in January and tried to stop him coming here as a kid.

It's going to be rubbish isn't it. We'll either lose players we don't want to lose and get some unknowns in as replacements, or we'll do nothing and Nige will pretend we're fine as we are.

Leicester have offered £5M for Lokomotiv Moscow striker, Dame N'Doye. If he goes, they would have a vacancy for a striker.....cue Pog returning to Russia.

Please! I don't care what anybody says, he has been a massive disappointment, and on a ridiculous wage as well. I'd swap him for a Murray in a heart beat.

Doesn't do nearly enough to warrant his wages though, and he doesn't suit one up front IMO.

Hammond deal dead according to Wattsy.

Now he says it could happen if Leicester bring in someone.

Not surprising, played well so far for Leicester this season and if Cambiasso isn't all that they'll need his cover.
