you can understand peoples frustrations when it seems the fans can see where the club are crying out for players, yet the club and manager seem to put all their faith in one player to turn our fortunes around...

whether it comes off or not, the palace fans really did not want him to go

Another successful transfer window for Mr Mad. How much did the club pocket this time. At least vindication not to have renewed my ST on the basis that RFC wouldn't invest either.

Playing devil's advocate, I can see why the club are reluctant to do perm deals when we have so many out injured that will hopefully play a full part at some point this season.

However... having no recognised LB at the club is p1ss poor, as is only having Pog & Cox as our senior strikers.

It's not like they didn't know LB was an issue & as soon as Bridge went they should have been on the case.

kwik-silva
curetonsdipper Another disappointing day as a reading fan even if we do get Murray tbh.

I miss the days when our scouting network went wider than players who aren't quite prem material.
Except you do realise that Reading aren't Prem material themselves. That's how the Championship works.

Not saying we are. I'm saying it would be good to sign a player who could potentially be a prem player. That was poorly worded. Granted Norwood is a good signing. But I have to say that if we do go up, and NA should always be aiming to do so, that cox mackie Ferdinand aren't gonna last long there. Really hoping they can bring on these young players.

Watts: From what I hear it's certainly a loan deal for Glenn Murray now. Still not done #readingfc

For those getting ready to rage when the window closes, deals can be announced after the deadline passes, they just have to have got their paperwork sorted beforehand...

True....I'm more expecting the typical RFC tweet saying we tried and failed about now. If I don't see that tweet then we've probably got him....

Could be worse, we could've signed Matt Smith.
