Martin41
Pepe the Horseman Someone suggested in the webchat that the Omanis might be involved again.

Yes something about with Pearce with Ireland, they play Oman tonight........which he seemed to think means they could be involved again. What's the word to describe whoever thought that??? Oh yes idiot!!

Some fella called The Wearing. He had a point though, why would Alex Pearce have arranged a friendly between Ireland and Oman, if they weren't part of the takeover?

Well how can anyone think that because one of our players plays for a team who are playing Oman, think that they are now involved again??

I believe the lady has bought a house local to the area (but not too local as she doesn't want to rough it in RG rather SL6 is the preferred postcode apparently)

savage 4 england "Since last 3 months, I spent my times right there in this great & wonderful city, I mean Reading not London, and from the bottom of my heart..I think that I love this place more than anywhere in U.K."

I don't think he's seen much of the UK then.

Check the fixture list, if he's been to our away games he's comparing us to Wigan, Nottingham, Scunthorpe and Middlesbrough which helps qualify his statement.

Personally, If I was taking over a football club I would not want to invest any real cash into it until the takeover was complete and signed off by all parties otherwise I'm just lending money to a company I have no control over, Likewise SJM isn't going to authorise any big changes the Thai's may want (e.g. sack the manager/hire a new one, sign players for £m's) when there is a chance they may walk away and leave him with that mess to deal with.

Exactly this - which is why we have taken on Mackie and Murray as loans at first, because they will cost more than we can afford to shell out at the moment without any input from the Thai consortium I reckon.

Wycombe Royal I like this guy, he genuinely trying to build a rapport with the fans and trying to keep them informed of what is going on and their long term ambition for the club. Anyone mocking him for doing this needs to seriously look at themselves...

+1.

Charges means we have borrowed money against our assets.
