Loyalty points count for nothing unless you're a STH. We've known that for a long time.

I've just over 2600 points, but with no ST this season, I can't see myself getting to Griffin Park this time.

Well no, non season ticket holders are also prioritised based on loyalty points, as per the post on the previous page.

Go online, you can't call the club to book tickets as international calls can't be put through into the telephone system!

I've been travelling to watch Reading away for years on end, yet as I don't want to commit to a season ticket, I'm therefore below somebody who may have never been to an away game before.

Don't really see how your tenure as a fan should come into it.

Somebody who's forked up hundreds of pounds, and committed to every home game in advance of the season should rightly get priority, regardless of how many away games they plan to attend.

And exactly how many season ticket holders, who've never been to an away game before, will decide to make this one their first? A few hundred tops (and good luck to 'em, hope they enjoy their day)

If they don't know the words to 'Newbury Department Store', then they shouldn't be allowed to venture to Brentford.

SPARTA STH's should always get first dibs on away and cup tickets, but the point system for away games is unnecessary until it's a play-off etc. Even last season we went to general sale for Bournemouth away. There's rarely a scramble for away tickets. Just let fans book them on a first come, first served basis!

Bournemouth was a Tuesday night to be fair.

How many Reading away game can you get to for a less than £20, one change train journey and still get back home for dinner? I surprised they didn't put this one to a Tuesday night as that seems to be the policy for any interesting away games. . . . .

Of courses you will be ok. I don't know why we all get so worried about tickets in these situations.

The rest of RFC supporters probably haven't been eagerly awaiting these coming out. They'll probably almost make it to general sale too

Just to allay the fears of all those worried about getting tickets for this, I'll be getting mine on 17 September.

You are of course correct, but i'd be surprised if it makes it to the non-ST days.

I've always benefited, as i'd always had a season ticket. I appreciate that is how it is. However, with the scheme running for so long now, it does throw up issues where you can have non-STHs with twice the amount of "loyalty" points as newer STHs, yet unable to buy tickets. That's not really rewarding them.

Fortunately on this occasion I have a mate with Brentford membership cards able to get me in.

I don't see why a lapsed season ticket holder should be given priority over a current one.

The bit in bold is the key - you don't want to commit to a season ticket. This implies an element of choice on your part, and you have chosen not to commit to buying a season ticket. Can't really complain as lots of people (myself included) have chosen to commit and have thus been rewarded with priority here. There are some people with more royalty points than me who can buy before me, but they've not only been to more games previously clearly than me but also have made the commitment this season. I have to wait till the 2000+ points day, and no complaints from me.

What are the chances of the tickets getting to member card holders with 1000 points? If not I should be able get a mate who has a season ticket to get mine for me.

Anyway, I don't think the new system is fair at all. Basically at the moment someone who has a season ticket this year for the first time has priority over someone who for example, had a season ticket for 10 years but doesn't have one this year?

Yeah good one RFC

How many tickets can you buy per STH.

FYI, as a hospitality STH, I can purchase as many tickets as I need before they go on sale to anybody 8)
