akranes Enjoyed McCleary making him look like an idiot last year and he'll be on ridiculous wages (part of Harry Redknap's 'legacy'), nope.

Ian Royal Loan a left back and we're gravy IMO.
GK: Federici, Andersen, Lincoln
RB: Gunter, Long
LB: Obita, LB, Griffin
CB: Pearce, Ferdinand
CB: Hector, Cooper
CM: Norwood,
CM: Kuhl, Akpan
LM: Mackie, Taylor, Obita
RM: Edwards, Tanner, Stacey
AM: Cox, Taylor, Tanner
ST: Murray, Cox
All bar three have already got pitch time.
We look a little light in midfield still, but thats got to be expected with four injuries in one position and hopefully we'll see Guthrie or Tshi fit by the time we play again. I dont think we can justify the expense of even more midfielders. Again, a little light up top, but hopefully we'll see Pog back after the break and Blackman not too far behind.

curetonsdippertidus_mi2 I'd love to see a left back to give Obita a chance at LW.
Unless he desperately wants to play midfield, I'd leave Obita at LB.
He shone at left back in the second half of last season, whereas in the first half of the season at left wing he didnt really stand out as much. He could develop into a really good left back if given the chance.
IMO last season he reminded me a lot of ryan bertrand when we had him on loan from chelsea.

I love the fact that you've forgotten Karacan and Williams! I nearly did myself they've been injured for so long!!

blythspartan Benoit Assou Ekotto hasn't been included in the Spurs squad.
He could be a good loan option at left back, although wages would probably be a problem.

I've also 'forgotten' Guthrie, McCleary, Kelly, HRK, Cummings, Blackman, Pogrebnyak and Tshibola... I wonder why that might be.

Over rated player and one that has openly said he only plays football as for the financial income, not because he enjoys it. It shows whenever you watch him play aswell, no passion.
Over rated
Over paid
Bad attitude
Sounds a bit like Drenthe..

You think most footballers do it because they enjoy a kick around ?
It's a job, and if you stopped paying them they would stop playing. His attitude sounds the same as most people.
Not sure I'm fussed about signing him though.
