Derby Away Match Thread (League Cup)

by Lacoste » 23 Sep 2014 19:14

Hal Robson-Kanu and Danny Guthrie start their first games of the season tonight, it's seven changes for the Royals at Derby.

Reading: Andersen, Gunter (C), Obita, Pearce, Hector, Kuhl, Guthrie, Mackie, Edwards, Robson-Kanu, Pogrebnyak

Subs: Lincoln, Long, Cooper, Stacey, Taylor, Cox, Blackman

To soon for Guthrie I fear. He'll get injured again.

I'm no good at predictions, so I'll predict injuries to Guthrie, HRK, Pogrebnyak and Hector.

I thought Mackie was cup tied. Presumably it's a clever move to ensure that even if we win we get thrown out of the competition.....

My prediction is Obita (calf), Pearce (broken nose) and Edwards (dengue fever)

4-0 - I think you are right
However, I really think you should have said where those 4 injuries will come from. By player

I also thought this game was on Wednesday.

What a waste of a ticket....

No real central midfield option on the bench, so they must be fairly confident Guthrie can last the 90 (unless Akpan's injured)

Happy with that. Strongest back 4. Kuhl gets more game time. Guthrie makes his return. Pog given a chance to take his position back and HRK makes his return.

Derby seem to have started strong - 4 shots already, all off target so far.

We've had a shot! On Target!

Gunter's been pretty poor since he got the armband. The sooner Karacan or Cummings are back the better.
