I don't see why Samrit not being involved.is reason to sneer at people who friended him. Just doing it in the first place was reason enough.

He Is probably involved. It was just easier to get it past the fa with his name removed from the deal.

If he really isn't that's also a good thing, since he couldn't prove funds and seems like a bit of a social media spaz

He's said himself he's still involved in some capacity

Very lazy bit of journalism in The Times today re Russian owners of football clubs, by Gabby Marcotti. It has a photo of Adkins and AZ on the Mad Stad pitch and then the article kicks off with a piece about how AZ is trying to sell his share in Reading FC.

Harpers So Solid Crew
Royal Rother If he hadn't put money into the club but had it sitting in some nice investment account somewhere I wonder how much income he'd have had....

Still, he's had a helluva lot of good times through RFC so counting the financial loss would be a little

Or he could have put it into his printing interests.

Yep, you have a point!

I just wish that we could ban football club owners (and ex-owners) from passing comment about how well it is going on the pitch. Every time good old SJM (bless him) comes out with these positive noises the team goes on a losing streak.
Please no more press releases until after the end of the season.
Mind you Adkins gloating in our recently discovered goal scoring powers and setting goal targets hasn't helped. How many goals have we scored in the last two games? Exactly: shut the chuff up!

Why hasn't there been a press conference to introduce the new owners of the club? You'd think it was pretty integral to the club's future and important to the fans to know who these people are. But silence.

I imagine SJM will parade them before the next home game and hog the microphone and say something about "our new friends" continuing the Reading way and taking us back to the promised land.

JM should leave RFC to its new owner to decide how the club should be run, you dont sell your house ,then carry on living in it ,do you? He sold everything , to my mind 50%+25%+25%=100% so JM where does your 10% come from???????

Chairmen of clubs don't always own the club....for example Phil Gartside at Bolton.

A better question is where does your 10% figure come from? There were certainly rumours JM was going to retain 10% before the takeover was confirmed but since it was confirmed, the only figures we've been given are 50%-25%-25%, no suggestion whatsoever that JM has a 10% share.

Where are any of these figures coming from? - Have I missed an announcement?

Don't forget STAR and possibly a few others own shares in Reading FC, The 50%/25%/25% presumably relates to the holding company who own most of the shares and a controlling interest in Reading FC.

But what company does hold the shares in RFC? Reading FC Holdings still has SJM et al as board members so presumably the Holding company doesn't actually own the football club.

Where does Sasima's new company fit in? RFC UK INVESTMENT CO. LTD

Would you cite Bolton as an example of a club with good governance, Wycombe?
