Wolves (H) Match Thread

Team

Federici, Gunter (c), Obita, Hector, Pearce, Akpan, Norwood, Taylor, Blackman, Cox, Murray.

Couldn't find subs. Surprised Guthrie isn't in there. Desperately need Karacan, Williams and McCleary back.

Wolf's keeper (I presume) looking very tentative and uncomfortable. Looks to be carrying a leg injury... muscle strain of some sort maybe.

Morning all! Just after 8:00 am here...just woke up and enjoying my first strong cup 'o coffee of the day.

Nice to be able to watch it but the Guardian has a mbm page up for the match with one of their football reporters providing live comments. They rarely do that for anything other than PL/Champion's League matches.

That's because it's on the telly so it's easy journalism. Watch telly, write comments, claim Pulitzer.

Sure, it is easy journalism but generally they do not devote those "lazy" resources to a league game for 2 Championship sides.

Wolves should be winning. Atrocious finishing.

Akpan's an enigma. He's sorted out his fear of tackling chasing everything down at the moment, and he's put a couple of decent passes around, but his first touch is still appalling.

Decent half, Wolves had the better either end of it but Reading had the lion's share and are worthy of the lead.

I'd like to see Mackie replace Taylor at some point and suspect Guthrie will replace Akpan late on too.

Murray looks dangerous if a little greedy.

What a woeful football match that has been so far, the only moment of excitement has been when I almost dropped my fry up off my lap at what was a well-worked goal and the only piece of quality.

Does any Reading player concede possession more readily than Akpan? Also he wins very little in the air which has put us in trouble once or twice.

We're very one-paced.
