USA_Loyal_Royal how has the guthrie norwood partnership looked?

it could be either brilliant with an incredible range of passing or complete shit.

Fairly good, maybe not physical enough but Guthrie has been playing shorter passes and through balls, Norwood as usual.

Lightweight, they're too similar - we had more control with Akpan breaking play up.

Blackman decides to shoot from 100000 yeard in the last minute of injury time when surely sticking it in the box would have been the sensible option.

He is so average, but clearly thinks he is the man. Bet he never passed to anyone in the playground.

And an own goal to boot. How bad have we become that this clown gets shoe-horned into the team.

I have never slagged Blackman off but after that decision to shoot, I oxf*rd hate him and want him permanently injured for the rest of time.

Interested to see if Nige holds his hands up and accepts the blame for that one, what was his rationale for bringing Guthrie on when we had totally controlled the first half?

Royalcop Not scapegoating Guthrie per se, just seemed unnecessary to tinker with the midfield when we were in control.

      Exactly.

One for the neutrals, second half at least.

Cox would be my man of the match with Norwood a close second. Both very creative. Shame Cox is invisible because when he wasn't good on the ball he was good off it, got into some good scoring positions but was never seen despite screaming like a banshee. Murray was good again if a little greedy.

Certainly not a game for the youngsters. Obita definitely didn't shower himself in glory, Taylor didn't contribute much other than his goals and some fouls, and although he wasn't on for long Kuhl didn't do much other than let people run past him.

Blackman thinks he's Christiano Ronaldo, which he really isn't.

The substitution made zero difference, people need someone to blame, Blackman, Adkins, Akpan, whatever. We lost because of defensive mistakes, not bad play, mistakes. 2 points dropped, but a point against Wolves isn't too bad either. People should just be pleased that we are playing good football, with a plan.

Blackman shooting from that free kick was just stupid, however odds are we wouldn't have scored anyways.

EDIT: Also it seems that any player with pace will cause us endless problems...

floyd__streete This has been utterly awful, if Wolves had scored five or six we could hardly complain.

We look a poorer side every time I see us.

Wolves are third. They've conceeded 3 all season until today. How many could we have scored?
