Royal Ginger Agreed with the point about the consolation goal, but in general, we score, there's plenty of time for cheering, and then when the music starts the vast majority of people jump up and down and join in. Ironically or not it appears they're having fun. No doubt some people don't like it, but I suspect there are a few naysayers who moan about it because it fits with their image to be against such things.

I don't like it, but I've given up and half heartedly join in after three or four years of refusing to and celebrating my own way.

I'm not actually that bothered because the music doesn't start till way after the goal, so it doesn't ruin the celebrations, it just adds to it. Agree we don't need it though.

I preferred the old music we had in around 2005/06 which we had for years. Don't like the darts music we have atm.

Sadly I fear today was a one off. Seemed to be having sound issues if the stupidly loud added time announcement is anything to go by.

Yeah, PA was knackered. Treble and volume up to 11. Don't know if there hasn't been PA on the East Stand concourse recently or whether it's just been quietly background before but today was deafening. Sky might have asked them to hold the sub announcements and goal music it was so bad.

It will be back!

Anybody hear the woman on BBC Berks after the game? Demanding the club fix the PA system so she can hear her music before the game. It's not a f*cking music concert you spastic.

It was good to be able to have a conversation before the game without having to shout over the stupidly loud pre match music

It was glorious to not have any goal music.

A power surge midweek, that apparently took out the J11 traffic lights, also blew the stadium amps so they only had the basic Elm Park tannoy system left as back up.

Unfortunately they will fix this so the crap music will be back...

It was chaos. Everyone in Y23 just stood around looking at each other, then sat down.

To compensate for the lack of goal music I hummed Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves by Cher after every Wolfs goal.

Glorious silence from the PA system after each goal went in. More of that please! :D

Was nice to be able to celebrate a goal (at home) without bloody music.
