The idea that a load of 1st time STHs who've never been to an away game have managed to get tickets over regular away attendees is clearly nonsense.

Tickets sold out when no. of points required was 1500+.
You get 255 points per year for a season ticket. That's 6 seasons required as a STH to get a seat (assuming they've never been to an away match).

Over 90% of tickets were already sold by then anyway, to people with even longer support.

You've not been mugged in the street for your ticket, the club just found more worthy people to give it to.

LWJ I don't particularly enjoy home games but average 15 away games a season.

This.

Stuff giving my money to some Thai shafters, IN for giving my money for a day of drinking in West London.

LWJ Think the club need to re think how away tickets are sold it's oxf*rd bollocks atm.

I would prefer to see it sold on a how many away games attended basis, rather than giving to season ticket holders who only bother for the big games.

Wednesday was £10 a ticket for adults. Yet we can't sell that out, Brentford was £26? + train fare meaning you would spend more than getting to Sheffield!!

I feel exactly the same way as you do about home games LWJ. I haven't been to a home game all season and can't actually remember the last time I went to one.

But I still got a Brentford ticket as I have mates who have had STs for years and couldn't go. If you can't be arsed to

a) Fork out for a season ticket
b) Have friends
c) Do a bit of RFC networking to get the connects

then frankly tough shit.

Which of the pubs at the ground are best for away fans? Hoping to crawl through them all but end up in the best away one!

Don't wear colours and don't be a dick and any are fine.

It's hardly Millwall.

Pub for before the game for away supporters seems to be the new inn.

The globe on windmill road and the Plough on Northfields Ave are both decent finds.

I drove through Hanwell yesterday and was dumbstruck by the amount of yellow ribbons that have been tied around railings, fences and posts in her memory.....poor little thing....
