GH Royal They are directly infront of me, and everygame I wonder why they bother coming as they rarely look interested, constantly on their phones and add nothing to the atmosphere.. Might aswell be cardboard cutouts.

Maybe you should have a word with them on sat.....

Sure, can I call on hobnob for back up?

Never know with yoofs these days. Will shining the batman symbol in the sky suffice? What are your response times like on a scale of TV Police to Apple bringing out a new iPhone?

Schards#2 Interesting to note that Williams, Cox, Murray, Ferdinand and Mackie, all Adkins signings, all looked the part last night. Maybe 'fans' should stop moaning, start coming to games and get behind the manager and team as we come out of a period of uncertainty, rebuilding and injury problems and look to kick on with a decent squad. I've not been to many away games this season but at home it's entertaining, exciting football with lots of goals from a team that appears united and committed, what's not to like?

And Norwood.

Spot on though, support the manager and the players, everyone wants the club to do well and the fans need to give their backing. I've been to a few away games so far, some good football at times but its usually overlooked as it's only for the first or second 45 mins.

Lovely stuff.

Didn't play particularly well until the second went in but Rotherham didn't offer a lot to threaten us. What a difference the first goal and some confidence can do.

Fed largely untroubled
Gunter didn't show anything to suggest he's getting better
Kelly good but I don't fancy him at left back against a decent attack
Pearce good
Ferdinand seemed fine
Norwood good but he's got sloppy since he started with us
williams so glad he's back
mackie gave them no end of trouble
obita fine needs to improve his crossing again
cox good stuff
murray needs to learn to stay onside and spot when his card is marked as a fouler.

hector good
akpan good
taylor no time

Hang on Gunter was at left back? Bloody hell I need to concentrate harder on who's who.

John Madejski's Wallet If Adkins drops Mackie and Cox again I'm going to have a nervous breakdown on Saturday.
Apparently Mackie's gran passed away recently, so I imagine that may have been a factor in him being dropped, He dedicated his goal last night to her.

SydenhamRoyal
3points
Will95 Low attendance

Heard a message come through on one of the car park steward's radio as we walked past him that there were only 9,000 in the ground tonight (despite an official attendance of over 13,775)

So was the official attendance 13,776?
He forgot to include himself.

Cox was very close to her too, by all accounts.

P!ssed Off Gunter was booked for kicking the ball away.

Thanks - I missed that bit of mature captaincy, as did most of the crowd around me!
P!ssed Off it was Hector that came on for Ferdinand.

Of course!! My fault for posting in the early hours of the morning after a few too many drinks! A bit embarrassing mixing up a mid-fielder with a defender but at least I did notice that Gunter was playing at Left Back, IR!!

That yellow annoyed me as one of the Rotherham players got away with it in the first half

In fairness to Ian, I really struggle to tell a lot of our players apart too. Gunter and Kelly aren't among them, but Norwood, Mackie and Cox? That's confusing, and the main reason I want to see Kuhl in the team.

I don't have much more to add. There were some really nice moves last night which hopefully put to bed all the "we can't play in Adkins' style!" complaints. We'll be frighteningly good with McCleary in the side.

Gr8 result. Sensible team selection. Saw the goals on SKY, gr8 strikes.

Beat teams like Blackpool and Rotherham and we'll get our 50+ points. We might even get them before end of March so we can all relax :!:

Disappointing to see crowds continuing to fall though. Just get the sense that the whole club is a bit complacent these days, as if we are 'bottoming out' in terms of ambition and are happy to be midtable Championship.
